Over the past school term Bubbles has really taken a liking to our stone age history studies, developing a deep love of mammoths in the process so for her 5th birthday tea party a stone age theme seemed like the perfect choice.
As always the decor included lots of items from around the house, including a selection of the girls beloved schleich animals, some simple balloons and a few sprigs of winter foliage.
This year I outsourced the chalkboard art to The Hubsy who did a great job creating some cave art.
Food wise, I made a simple sponge cake covered in white fondant icing to look like ice with Bubbles’ new mammoth toys as decoration. There were also some chocolate bonfire cupcakes made by the lovely Auntie Emily along with a few other savoury nibbles and berries.
Best of all Bubbles had a lot of fun playing with her cousins and went to bed a very happy little girl.
I am fronted…
