Dear Blossom, You are all of a sudden so very grown up so Mama is feeling a little fragile today as we close this chapter on your play school days. Over the next 7 weeks of summer I plan to squeeze every last drop of preschool goodness out of you before you head on to the next adventure that is “big school.” (Oh and now is the time to get those extra ice-creams out of me, whilst I’m feeling all soppy and sentimental.) Dear Bubbles, Praise the Lord your mid summer sleeping blip appears to have come to an end! As much as I appreciate that you just love me sooooo much, you really don’t need to wake me at 1am, 3am and 5am to show me – the day time snuggles and monopoly of Mummy’s time really will suffice. Oh and congratulations on the transition to big girl pants, you’ll be following in your sister’s footsteps before I know it. Dearest Daughters, all good things come to an end, but always remember that the joy is in the journey.
Hey Jessica I simply love reading your blog…thanks for making me smile ….often. Julia xx
