Outgoing in June

June has felt like a slower month on the snail mail front. Partly because lots of my penpals have been on holidays and I’m still waiting for their return mail and partly because most of my postcards sent through Postcrossing were sent to the same far off countries.

So this month I tried a few different things with my mail art, like using bolder lettering and collaging my envelopes with various stamps and stickers. I was pleased with the results, but see what you think!

I also had my first piece of mail go missing over this past month which was highly disappointing as I was incredibly excited about my cow themed piece of snail mail. I’m still holding on to hope that it may miraculously arrive at it’s destination in Texas and if not I may summon the courage to try and recreate the moo cow goodness another time.

So here are this months stats: I have sent 22 postcards, 3 letters and 3 cards to a total of 12 countries.

*(Austria, Belarus, Bulgaria, England, China, Finland, Germany, Latvia, Netherlands, New Zealand, Russia, U.S.A.)

Here are some of the shots:

    Lovely mail as always!
And shame about the missing mail. So annoying when that happens
