Outgoing in March

March has been a busy month as I’ve immersed myself in all things snail mail. I have sent 12 postcards, 5 letters, 5 cards and 1 parcel to 12 different countries*, all through the postal system and then hand delivered another 7 cards on island.

*(Guernsey, Netherlands, Germany, Czech Republic, Belarus, Ukraine, Russia, USA, Canada, Japan, Taiwan, New Zealand).

I sent my first paper crafted envelope, discovered I love doodling wreaths, successfully sealed an envelope with a wax seal, practiced my faux calligraphy and connected with 3 new penpals.

Here are some of the images…

My first paper crafted mail art for a new penpal in the U.S.
And the reverse.
And my first ever first letter, introducing myself to a new penpal!
A spot of faux calligraphy and mail art doodles for the godmother of my girls.
A sweet Belle & Boo illustration for a mummy and her son in Ukraine (via Postcrossing).
A baby shower in a box for my sweet kiwi friend.
A hand delivered card for the birthday girl.
An understated envelope for the man in my life, using my new rubber stamp.
Some simple mail art doodles for my Canadian penpal.
A letter and mail tag bundle for my penpal in Texas, USA.
And the reverse.
Postcards via Postcrossing to Russia & Germany
A postcard to a history teacher in Massachusetts, USA (via Postcrossing).
A collection of Guernsey postcards sent out via Postcrossing.
Mail art doodles as requested by the lovely Sally.
My first wax seal on a very spring themed envelope.
A spot of modern art for a postcrosser in Japan.

Have you managed to send some happy mail this month?

Thanks Emma. I’m really enjoying the doodles at the moment and so pleased I went with this stamp, it took me ages to decide which one I wanted first!

Definitely seems like the perfect stamp for letters (especially if you’re sending international 🙂 ). Can I ask where you got it?
