Daughter Diaries #4 | The Open Home

Dear Blossom, I was pleased to hear from your health visitor that you apparently have very good speech for your age. However, I hope you never stop calling horsies, ‘sorsies’ or saying ‘enore’ every time you see a donkey. Your animal related speech really is the cutest. Dear Bubbles, I’m still trying to discern your voice. Blossom thinks you sound like a snuffly panda and I have to say at times I agree with her. Your eyes communicate much though and I can see that you’re already a deep thinker and philosopher of life, just like your big sister. Dearest Daughters, I’m looking forward to mother-daughter coffee dates with you two, listening to you share your hearts and speak your minds will be such a privilege.

What cute things did your little ones say when learning to talk?

Well when we arrived here in Guernsey you were two years old and your very Northern “hi-ya” was always a delight to hear!!
