{April Gratitudes}

Gratitudes April 2014 | The Open Home
For toast so good table manners can be ignored!
Gratitudes April 2014 | The Open Home
For the dying art of letter writing and the simple joy that only a handwritten note can bring.
Gratitudes April 2014 | The Open Home
For our cloth bottomed babe and modern technology that makes cloth nappies so easy to use.
Gratitudes April 2014 | The Open Home
For hair clips and hair that flicks, and the sweet anticipation of Daddy-Daughter dates.
Gratitudes April 2014 | The Open Home
For blue bells in bloom and the closest thing to a forest.

These are some of the inserts from our family gratitude journal during April, reminding us that God is good and that we are blessed!

What have you been thankful for lately?

    This is lovely Jessica! I’m thankful for friends near and far and for the natural world which continues to inspire me wherever I go. I too am thankful for those lovely traditions, like handwritten notes and cards which brighten one’s day in the midst of modern technology.
